Introduction
This tutorial will guide you through the process of connecting a Webflow site to SEOmatic. Make sure to have your API Token handy. If you don't have an API Token, don't worry - we'll cover how to generate one in this guide. Let's get started!

Step by Step Guide to Connect with Webflow
Generate API Token
The API token is a unique identifier that allows for secure communication between our application and your Webflow account.
- Log into your Webflow account.
- Select your website and click on the three dots icon then “Settings”.
- Click on “Apps & Integrations” tab and find the “API access” section. Click on 'Generate API Token'
- Enter a name for the API token (i.e. SEOmatic) and give the following permissions for your app.
- Write down your new API token somewhere secure. This is a sensitive piece of information that shouldn't be shared with others.
Connect to Webflow
Now you're ready to connect your Webflow to SEOmatic.
- Go to “Connections” tab.
- Choose Webflow and click “Add Connection”.
- You will be prompted to input your Webflow API token. Copy and paste your token into the designated field.
- After entering your API token, your application will retrieve all the sites from Webflow.
- Select the site you want to connect with our application and confirm your selection.
- Optional: If you have a custom domain, please select your custom domain. By default, we will connect to your Webflow domain (shortname.webflow.io).
- Click 'Connect' and you'll see a confirmation message if the connection is successful. If not, an error message will appear.
- Your connection will appear in “My Connections” tab.
